So Young Magazine announce rarities and demos compilation featuring Fontaines D.C., Shame, English Teacher and more
So Young Magazine will celebrate the milestone of their 50th edition with a compilation featuring twelve bands including the likes of Fontaines D.C., Shame, English Teacher and more.
To celebrate ten years and 50 issues, So Young reached out to some friends, old and new, to share a debut, demo or rarity for a compilation that spans the magazine's history to date. 10 Years of So Young Magazine features music from Palma Violets, The Big Moon, Fontaines D.C., Shame, English Teacher, Wunderhorse, Childhood, Splashh, Been Stellar, Sports Team, Sorry and Goat Girl.
Opening with Palma Violets debut single, "Best of Friends", it was this song that lit the initial fire of So Young. Fontaines D.C.’s first print feature preceded a debut UK cover on the front of So Young. The band joined a bill including Squid and Sports Team at The Five Bells, New Cross to celebrate So Young’s fifth birthday. A demo of "Hurricane Laughter" celebrates that night on this compilation.
