Skepta to launch new record label Más Tiempo during KOKO's first anniversary celebrations
Rapper and producer Skepta's second record label Más Tiempo – which has a focus on house music – is finally being established.
Más Tiempo will officially launch with a party at legendary London venue KOKO featuring performances from Jammer, Benji B and DJ Maximum. The event is part of KOKO's first birthday celebrations after having recently closed for renovations.
This will be the first Más Tiempo event to take place since their collaboration with Cuttin' Headz last December.
Más Tiempo's focus is to give Skepta and fellow producers a platform to release new music on their own terms. The Mercury-prize winning artist also runs Big Smoke Records which launched last year and seeks to represent "trend setters, who break the mould and do things differently."
The last time Skepta played at KOKO was back in 2016 to celebrate the release of his album Konnichiwa. This upcoming performance will be one of Skepta’s most intimate shows in years, and his first in London since he headlined Wireless in 2021.
Limited fifth release tickets are on sale now.
