Sharon Van Etten announces deluxe version of We’ve Been Going About This All Wrong with new single "Never Gonna Change"
Sharon Van Etten has shared news of a deluxe edition of her May album We’ve Been Going About This All Wrong, and has unveiled new track "Never Gonna Change" to accompany the announcement.
"Never Gonna Change" is co-produced by Van Etten and Daniel Knowles, and is, in her own words, "about managing depression and anxiety in the midst of isolation. Coping with recurring fears throughout adulthood, acknowledging that flaws, fears and triggers can’t be overcome, they are a constant part of one’s identity to learn to be at peace with."
"Never Gonna Change" is one of two bonus songs that will appear on the deluxe edition of Van Etten's We’ve Been Going About This All Wrong album, alongside "When I Die".
Van Etten is also due to appear on Margo Price's forthcoming album Strays.
"Never Gonna Change" is out now. The deluxe edition of Sharon Van Etten's We’ve Been Going About This All Wrong album will arrive on 11 November via Jagjaguwar, and is available to pre-order now.
