Shame have delivered new single "Six-Pack" as a second preview of their forthcoming album Food for Worms.
"Six-Pack" follows Shame's November lead outing "Fingers of Steel", and is accompanied by a video directed by Gilbert Bannerman and animated by Cyrus Hayley.
Shame's Charlie Steen says of the new outing, ""Six-Pack" is essentially the opposite of a Room 101; instead it’s a room where all your wildest desires can come true and will be showered upon you. Be it commodities, self-obsession, foods and B-lister celebrities, it’ll all be there if you want it to. You’ve done time behind bars and now you’re making time in-front of them. It’s time to make up for anything you’ve lost or wasted, it’s time to get it all."
Food for Worms will follow 2021's Drunk Tank Pink album, and is described by Steen as "the Lamborghini of Shame records." Shame recorded the album while playing festivals all over Europe, and it's produced by Flood.
"Six-Pack" is out now. Shame's Food for Worms album will land via Dead Oceans on 24 February 2023, and is available to pre-order now. They'll play London's O2 Academy Brixton on 28 April. Visit shame.world for a full list of dates.
