
serpentwithfeet, Nabihah Iqbal and Arooj Aftab join lineup for Flow Festival Helsinki 2024
Flow Festival Helsinki's Balloon 360° stage,, renowned for its diverse and international lineup, has announced its program for this year's festival, including the likes of serpentwithfeet, Nabihah Iqbal and Arooj Aftab.
Kicking off on Friday 9 August, Grammy-winning singer, composer, and producer Arooj Aftab. Joining her will be Congolese ensemble KOKOKO!, producer, and DJ Nabihah Iqbal, indie rock band The Holy, featuring a ten-member exclusive lineup, alongside drummer-producer Teppo Mäkynen's alias, The Stance Brothers.
The following day, on 10 August, Palestinian band 47SOUL, will grace the renowned Balloon 360° stage alongside Thee Sacred Souls, serpentwithfeet, Indonesian band Precious Bloom, and Finnish artists Verneri Pohjola: Monkey Mind and Tinyhawk & Bizzarro. Closing out the festival on the Sunday will be Brazilian musician Marcos Valle, Artemas, saxophonist Timo Lassy and trumpeter Jukka Eskola's joint project Nordic Stew, Inginmaa/Hypnomen, and Selma Savolainen.
These names join an already formidable programme of exciting boundary-breakers, influential icons, exhilarating and trail-blazing new talent and waiting-to-be-discovered game-changers, including the likes of Fred again.., Pulp, RAYE, The Smile, PJ Harvey, IDLES, Alvvays, Jessie Ware, Denzel Curry, Overmono, Blonde Redhead, Kenya Grace, Miriam Bryant, L'Imperatrice, Helena Hauff and Young Marco.
