Self Esteem shares new single version of "F*cking Wizardry"
Self Esteem has unveiled "Fucking Wizardry - Block Them Edit", a new single version of her Prioritise Pleasure track.
"Fucking Wizardry" is the second song featured on Self Esteem's 2021 album Prioritise Pleasure, and last night (17 August) she delivered a new single version of the track - "Fucking Wizardry - Block Them Edit" - which was premiered as the Hottest Record In The World on BBC Radio 1.
Rebecca Lucy Taylor says of the song, "Here is my new single "Fucking Wizardry - Block Them Edit". It’s a song about trusting and believing in what you already know. If it feels like someone is taking the piss, they usually are. Not to be all ‘you deserve better’ about it but it’s very likely you do, indeed deserve better."
Last month Self Esteem made an appearance on Celebrity Gogglebox alongside Bimini.
Prioritise Pleasure has been nominated for the 2022 Mercury Prize alongside albums by Little Simz, Wet Leg, Sam Fender, Gwenno, Yard Act and more. The winner will be revealed on 8 September at the 2022 Awards show at London's Eventim Apollo.
