Scout reflects the premature death of a relationship with new single, "Hurt"
London-based singer, songwriter and producer Scout has shared their latest single "Hurt", which is lifted from their forthcoming debut EP, Everything Will Make Sense.
"Hurt" follows their previous release, "Who" with Phoebe Green, and their debut single "The Best".
The track continues in a similar vein to Scout's first two releases which also sees them questioning the world and the relationships surrounding them. At its core, Scout explains: "Hurt is about a breakdown in communication between people leading to the premature death of a relationship ands lots of what ifs."
Discussing the project as a whole, Scout adds: "it's all about trying to find something to hold on to, trying to make sense of what's happened and regaining a sense of self. This EP is the perspective you're desperate for, but can't full access in the eye of things."
Scout's debut EP, Everything Will Make Sense, is set for release on 1 March 2024 via Sweat Entertainment.
