Sarah Julia share new single, "Daughters"
Amsterdam-based sisters Sarah Julia have shared their new single, "Daughters", which is taken from their upcoming EP, Only Making It Worse.
“The song is about the fears that come with being a woman, fears you’re taught from a young age to protect yourself. It’s about the desire to break free from this cycle, but knowing it’s impossible. You’re forced to adapt, all while feeling the unfairness of it. The song expresses the hope that these fears won’t be passed on to the next generation, not wanting them to carry the same anxieties you’ve lived with and having to live in a world that’s unsafe for them,” Sarah Julia explain.
Only Making It Worse will be released on 9 May via AWAL.
