Sam Smith releases new album title-track "Gloria"
Sam Smith has released their new "queer love hymn" "Gloria", the title-track from their upcoming album.
Ahead of being Saturday Night Live's first musical guest of 2023 tomorrow (21 January), Sam Smith has shared the title-track from their new album Gloria, which they describe as "my queer love hymn, saying life is a song to Gloria, the thing I can’t put a word to. I don’t know if it’s nature or a feminine energy inside me that I’m setting free."
"Gloria" is the third preview of Smith's new album, following "Gimme" featuring Koffee and Jessie Reyez that arrived last week, and last year's chart-topping, BRIT-nominated Kim Petras collaboration "Unholy".
Smith's Gloria album will follow 2020's Love Goes, and will also feature a new collaboration with Ed Sheeran.
"Gloria" is out now. Sam Smith's Gloria album will follow on 27 January, and is available to pre-order now.
