Sam Fender unveils album title track, "People Watching"
Sam Fender has shared his first new music from his forthcoming third album, People Watching.
To introduce the new record, Fender shares its title track, which was produced in Los Angeles alongside The War on Drugs’ Adam Granduciel. The song was written for his late friend and mentor, Annie Orwin, and is based on Fender’s thoughts as he travelled to and from her palliative care home.
People Watching follows Seventeen Going Underwhich was released in 2021, after the success of his 2019 debut album, Hypersonic Missiles.
Sam Fender recently announced an arena tour taking place in December, marking his first UK run since Spring 2022. Sam Fender’s return to London at the O2 Arena will signal his first performance in the city since headlining Finsbury Park back in the Summer of 2022. £1 from every ticket sold for the UK dates will be donated to the Music Venue Trust in support of grassroots venues.
People Watching will be released on 21 February 2025 via Polydor Records, and is available to pre-order now.
