Following the release of Spotify Wrapped 2024, Digital PR Agency have sought to unveil how much the top-streaming artists of 2024 may have earned in royalties.
Sabrina Carpenter’s viral single "Espresso" is officially Spotify’s top-grossing song of 2024. "Espresso" won Song of the Year at the VMA’s and is nominated for Record of the Year at the Grammy's. With a total of over 1.6 billion streams, the American artist has potentially earned £5,685,561 from royalties. In second place, is "Beautiful Things" by Benson Boone, who has the potential of making just £128,000 less than Carpenter.
Billie Eilish’s "BIRDS OF A FEATHER" comes in third place after having had 1.5 billion streams since its release. The album that it features on, HIT ME HARD AND SOFT, also placed in the Spotify Wrapped charts as sixth most listened to.
