RHODES announces his third studio album, (un-finished)
Hertfordshire-raised, London-based singer/songwriter RHODES has announced his upcoming album, (un-finished), alongside the brand new single, "Toothpaste".
"Toothpaste" is the fourth single to be unveiled from RHODES’ upcoming album, joining recently released tracks "Happy", "Sunlight", and "How I Love You".
Speaking about "Toothpaste", RHODES says: “I wrote "Toothpaste" one evening when I was thinking a lot about my younger years and what led me to where I am today. Sometimes when I look back on my early twenties, I see someone so scared and lost. Someone who was always running from something, but towards chaos and self-sabotage. The verses play into some of the experiences I had in my darkest moments and the chorus is a message to anyone who is struggling to overcome their fears that they can find the strength and that they can do it.”
RHODES kicked off 2023 with the release of his sophomore album Friends Like These. Recorded during lockdown with producers Rich Cooper and Ash Workman (Christine and the Queens, Metronomy) the album shared tales of love, loss, friendship, and hope.
Friends Like These marked RHODES’ first album release since his 2015 acclaimed debut Wishes.
"Toothpaste" is out now. (un-finished), is set for release on 1 March 2024 via Nettwerk, and is available to pre-order now.
