Phoebe Bridgers has responded to the death of Queen Elizabeth II by sharing a post mourning lives that were "affected and destroyed" by her reign.
In complete contrast to many tributes for Queen Elizabeth II, who died aged 96 yesterday (8 September), Phoebe Bridgers has shared a post to mourn the lives that were "affected and destroyed" by the Queen's reign.
The full post reads: "Today we mourn all the stolen, violated, and traumatized lives who were affected and destroyed during Qween Elizabeth II's reign. Today is a brutal reminder that war criminals will be honored while entire populations and societies bear the battle scars of colonial genocidal violence, invasion, religious persecution, and white supremacy."

A resurfaced clip emerged yesterday (8 September) of The Cure’s Robert Smith predicting Queen Elizabeth II's death one day short in 2012.
