Pavement treat Atlanta crowd to first performance of "Angel Carver Blues / Mellow Jazz Docent" in 26 years
Pavement added 1991's "Angel Carver Blues / Mellow Jazz Docent" to their Atlanta setlist on Saturday (8 October), marking the first time they've played the track live since 1996.
During Pavement's reunion tour, they've been bringing out a series of deep cuts in different locations, and their Saturday show in Atlanta was no different, as they treated fans to "Angel Carver Blues / Mellow Jazz Docent", a song that appeared on their 1991 EP Perfect Sound Forever.
Pavement performed the song at The Eastern in Atlanta, which marked the first live outing for the song since 1996.
Last week Pavement brought out Kurt Vile to help them perform "Zurich Is Stained" at their Philadelphia show.
Pavement will play a four-night run at London's Roundhouse from 22-25 October.
