Paramore announce first new single in five years "This Is Why"
After teasing their next era over the past couple of weeks, Paramore have announced their first new single in five years "This Is Why".
Last week each Paramore member updated their individual social media pages with a matching image, leading fans to think new music is imminent. As well as wiping earlier posts from Instagram, they posted a clip of a new song in their newly-launched Discord server, and another snippet of the same song was posted on a mysterious TikTok account a few days later.
Today (16 September) the speculation has come to an end as Paramore have finally announced their new single "This Is Why", which will mark their first new material since 2017's After Laughter album.
