Olivia Rodrigo shares the alternate clean lyrics for "Vampire"
Last week, Olivia Rodrigo shared the highly anticipated follow-up to her debut album, SOUR.
"vampire" is the first single to be released from Rodrigo's forthcoming second album, GUTS, and was produced by and co-written with Daniel Nigro – her main creative partner on SOUR.
In a video which she posted to her TikTok, Rodrigo shares a clip of the writing sessions in which herself and Nigro were trying to find an alternate lyric which rhymes with "blood sucker". Whilst they ultimately landed on the more gripping "fame fucker", some of the cleaner options were: fame hunter, tree hugger, whale blubber, garlic butter, and Mark Zucker.
