Introducing Jewel to the crowd, Rodrigo said: “She is such an incredible songwriter. When I first started writing my songs, I would listen to her album Pieces of You before I went to bed. She’s incredible and it’s such an honor that she’s here with me tonight.”

Elsewhere on the GUTS tour, Rodrigo partnered with the National Network of Abortion Funds for the North American stops of the tour “to help those impacted by healthcare barriers in getting the reproductive care they deserve".
As well as condoms, and Plan B, which are packaged with a card that reads "Funding abortion? It's a good idea, right?" there were posters with QR codes which provide information on abortion services, as well as phone numbers and pamphlets which sheds a light on contraceptive resources for the local area.
