Olivia Rodrigo performed “If It Makes You Happy” with Sheryl Crow in Nashville
On Friday evening (29 September) at the Bluebird Café in Nashville, Olivia Rodrigo was joined by Sheryl Crow, and the pair performed Crow's 1996 classic, "If It Makes You Happy".
Posting about the performance on her socials, Rodrigo wrote: “pinch me! sang one of my favorite songs of all time with the greatest of all time. what an honor!!!!”
She played four songs including "Vampire", which is taken from her second album GUTS. The performance also marked the live debut of the tracks, "Lacy" and "Making The Bed", which also feature on the follow-up to her 2021 debut, SOUR.
The Bluebird Café is where Taylor Swift was discovered.
Olivia Rodrigo and Sheryl Crow first met when Crow presented the the Woman of the Year award to Rodrigo at Billboard's Women in Music event last March.
Sheryl Crow is set to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on 3 November alongside Willie Nelson, Missy Elliot, Chaka Khan, Kate Bush, Hip Hop great DJ Kool Herc, the late George Michael and many more. The night is set to feature performances from Elton John, H.E.R., Brandi Carlile, Dave Matthews, St. Vincent and New Edition.
