Norway's Øya Festival adds Lorde, Róisín Murphy, Yo La Tengo and more to 2023 line-up
Øya Festival in Norway has announced some new names for the 2023 event, including Lorde, Róisín Murphy and Yo La Tengo.
Lorde has joined the Øya Festival 2023 line-up as a co-headliner for the Wednesday. Other new names for this year's festival include Róisín Murphy, Yo La Tengo, Okay Kaya, Viagra Boys, Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs, Sløtface, Moderat and Special Interest.

The 2023 edition of the Norwegian festival will also feature performances from Blur, Wizkid, Håkan Hellström, Caroline Polachek, FKA twigs, boygenius, Pusha T, Susanna Sundfør, Snail Mail, Obongjayar, Amyl and The Sniffers, Jockstrap, Makaya McCraven and many others.
Øya Festival has gained a reputation as the world's greenest festival, with 98% of its power being renewable and all construction machinery being run on biofuel. 75% of all waste is recycled, and 98% of attendees arrive by bike, on foot or public transport.
