Nick Cave to narrate audiobook for Faith, Hope and Carnage book
It's been revealed that Nick Cave's Faith, Hope and Carnage book will be getting an audiobook narrated by Cave and the co-author Seán O’Hagan.
Next month Cave will release Faith, Hope and Carnage, a new book created using over 40 hours of interviews with journalist and longtime friend Sean O’Hagan.
The book described as "a meditation on big ideas including, faith, art, music, grief and much more", and will cover Cave's personal life over the last six years, following the death of his 15-year-old son Arthur in 2015.
Today (31 August) it's been revealed that an audiobook version is also arriving next month, and is narrated by Cave and O'Hagan.
According to a press release, the audiobook version of Faith, Hope and Carnage includes 16 musical codas and uses elements from the Carnage, Skeleton Tree and Ghosteen albums. The audiobook will also feature a 12-minute conversation between Cave and O’Hagan about the production of the recording.
