
Nia Archives is third in Radio 1's Sound of 2023 list
Nia Archives has placed third in Radio 1's Sound of 2023 list, after Cat Burns and Gabriels.
On New Year's Day (1 January) BBC started narrowing down the Radio 1 Sound of 2023 longlist, with Gabriels taking fifth place, and Cat Burns placing fourth. Today (3 January) it's been revealed that Nia Archives, who was also nominated for the BRITs Rising Star Award, is in third place.
Nia Archives released her latest single "So Tell Me..." in November 2022.
The likes of FLO, Fred again.., Biig Piig, Rachel Chinouriri, Dylan, Asake and Piri & Tommy are also on the Radio 1 Sound of 2023 longlist.
PinkPantheress was crowned the winner of the BBC Sound of 2022 list ahead Wet Leg, Central Cee and Tems.
The Radio 1 Sound of 2023 winner will be revealed this Thursday, 5 January.
