NewDad promise to be kinder to themselves on "White Ribbons"

Following a number of track drops over recent months – "In My Head", "Angel", "Let Go" and "Nightmares" – the brand new single, "White Ribbons", serves as the last offering ahead of the debut release, Madra.

Speaking of the track, singer/guitarist Julie Dawson says: “This song is about how no matter how much shit you put your body through, it always finds a way to fix itself, and that’s a very beautiful thing. ‘White Ribbons’ is a metaphor for my skin; something that always heals my wounds. It’s like a promise to my body that I will be kinder to myself.”

NewDad have released two hyped EP’s previously – Waves (2021) and Banshee (2022) – both of which were produced by Chris W Ryan, with the latter mixed by John Congleton (St Vincent, Phoebe Bridgers). Since signing to Atlantic Records earlier this year, the band have dropped two tracks, "In My Head’ (which will feature on their debut) and "Break In".
