Nakhane links with Perfume Genius on new cut "Do You Well"
Nakhane has shared their second new single of 2022, "Do You Well", which features Perfume Genius.
"Do You Well" is Nakhane's first release since July's "Tell Me Your Politik", which featured Nile Rodgers and Moonchild Sanelly, and sees Nakhane unite with Perfume Genius.
Nakhane says of the track, which is teamed with a Jordan Rossi-directed video, "Parts of the lyrics were a humorous take on how deceptive club lighting can be. We all look a little different under those strobes lights. I was making fun of myself, and turned that metaphor into something literal and somewhat base."
"Do You Well" is Perfume Genius' first outing since appearing on Alice Boman's "Feels Like A Dream" in August.
They're yet to follow up their 2018 album You Will Not Die.
