Mura Masa delivers new Erika de Casier collaboration "e-motions"
Mura Masa has released new song "e-motions" featuring Erika de Casier as the latest preview of his demon time album that's out later this week.
"e-motions" featuring Erika de Casier follows last month's remix of "blessing me" featuring Kali Uchis, and arrives as the final taster of Mura Masa's demon time album ahead of its release this Friday (16 September).
"e-motions" will appear on demon time with earlier releases "blessing me" featuring Pa Salieu and Skillibeng, "hollaback bitch" track with Shygirl and Channel Tres, "bbycakes" with PinkPantheress, Shygirl and Lil Uzi Vert, and last year's "2gether".
demon time will follow Mura Masa's 2020 second album R.Y.C. A press release reveals that the record had the working title of Fun for a while, but Mura Masa thought people would need "vicarious, escapist music now. So that's where this demon time idea came from – how do we soundtrack the 1am to 5am period where you start doing stupid shit that you don't regret but wouldn't do again when it emerges again post-lockdown?"
"e-motions" featuring Erika de Casier is out now. Mura Masa's demon time album will follow on Friday (16 September) via Polydor Records, and is available to pre-order now.
