Metronomy and Porij link up on "Petit Boy"
Metronomy’s Joseph Mount has partnered with the London-based quartet Porij, for new single “Petit Boy”.
The track continues Metronomy’s run of collaborations, borne from sessions for the recently released, Posse EP Volume 2.
“It was a joyous experience getting to collaborate with Metronomy on this track.” says Porij. “It’s a silly tongue in cheek song about dealing with insecurities within ourself and others. We started it many moons ago and came back to it recently with fresh ears and thought it was decent haha. Very much looking forward to finally getting it out in the world.”
The release comes hot on the heels of Metronomy’s Posse EP Volume 2, which across its five tracks saw Mount collaborate on singles with Pan Amsterdam “Nice Town”; Naima Bock and Joshua Idehen “With Balance”; as well as tracks with Nourished by Time on “My Love”; Faux Real & Miki on “Contact High”, and Lynks, SPIDER, Master Peace and TaliaBle on “Typical”.
“Petit Boy” is out now on Ninja Tune.
