Lorde says she's "kept working pretty much since tour ended"
In a recent email sent to fans, Lorde revealed that she's "kept working pretty much since tour ended".
In Lorde's latest email update sent to fans, she unveiled the "Oceanic Feeling" video directed by Joel Kefali and Lorde, discussed the one-year anniversary of her latest album Solar Power, Dev Hynes and upcoming shows, and also revealed that she's been working since she finished her tour.
"I write to you from summer's end," Lorde wrote. "I can't believe it's almost gone. Normally in these months, my whole life is lived in deference to the season. I wake up and the weather decides what I'll do. I spend long days outside. Swims come first, and everything else in my calendar arranges itself around them. This year, the summer's been like a movie playing in the background. I've kept working pretty much since tour ended, spending long days in a dark room, my brain buzzing like a fluorescent tube, eyes watering when I step back into the light."
Last week a Lorde fan shared a uncropped version of Lorde's Melodrama album artwork using DALL-E 2, the AI system that can create images using descriptions.
In an email sent to fans last month, Lorde thanked attendees of her June Alexandra Palace show for raising over $33,000 for The Brigid Alliance.
