Lauran Hibberd shares brand new single "2nd prettiest girl (in the world)"
Isle Of Wight power-pop artist Lauran Hibberd shared the satire-fuelled new single, "2nd prettiest girl (in the world)", as the latest track to be taken from her forthcoming second album, Girlfriend Material.
Detailing her newest release, which follows 2023 singles, "I Suck At Grieving", "Mary", and "Honda Civic", Hibberd explained: “An unfortunate true story, does fortunately always start a good song. I went on a date last year, and was told I was the second prettiest girl in the room. I actually said thank you (I need help). I started writing this song the next day. It became my personality. This has been one of my personal favourites on my new album ‘girlfriend material’ for ages, it’s torturously relatable.”
Girlfriend Material is set for release on 22 March via Virgin Music, and is available to pre-order now.
