Youth Lagoon's Trevor Powers has shared a new solo track under his own name and penned a note to explain the changes.
The magical new number from Powers - his first release since 2015's third LP Savage Hills Ballroom and follow up offcut "I've Seen" - comes with a captivating set of visuals directed by Dan Opsal and featuring swimming troupe Aqualillies.
Explaining more about his decision to retire from the Youth Lagoon name, Powers has written an open letter. Read the note in full below.
"Playwright" is out now via Powers' newly launched label Baby Halo.
