YG Entertainment responds to reports of a new BLACKPINK album in June
YG Entertainment has responded to recent reports that BLACKPINK could be returning with a new album in June, saying "it has not been officially announced".
BLACKPINK haven't released new music since their 2020 first Korean album The Album, although they did deliver the Japanese version of The Album in August last year, but according to a report by News Naver, BLACKPINK are expected to return with a new record in June.
YG Entertainment has since responded to the reports of a new BLACKPINK album according to Daum, confirming that the group are preparing a comeback, but the June release date isn't set in stone.
"BLACKPINK's comeback schedule has not been decided yet," YG Entertainment said. "As for the comeback in June, many people are only speculating that way, but it has not been officially announced. However, it is true that we are preparing for a comeback. When a detailed schedule comes out next time, I will tell you the official data."
