Yeasayer announce new album Amen & Goodbye, reveal vid for lead track "I Am Chemistry"
Yeasayer have announced a new record called Amen & Goodbye and released the visuals for lead single "I Am Chemistry", which surfaced this morning.
Amen & Goodbye has been teased by Yeasayer via bizarre 20-ish second clips.
The record is Yeasayer's fourth in total, and their first since 2012's Fragrant World. The Brooklyn band worked with sculptor David Altmejd on the artwork. The press release describes the album as "a collection of strange fables from the Bible of a universe that does not yet exist."
"I Am Chemistry" features guest vocals from Suzzy Roche (The Roches), and features a video from New Team Ltd.
Amen & Goodbye is due to be released 1 April on Mute. It was recorded to tape at Outlier Inn Studio in upstate New York, and produced with Joey Waronker (Beck, Atoms For Peace).
