Wireless and Field Day are London's most talked about festivals
Wireless is London's most-talked about festival on social media, a new report shows, racking up over 40,000 mentions.
Wireless' rise is massive - last year's total mentions hovered around the 28,000 mark. This year's Wireless saw performances from the likes of The 1975, Boy Better Know, Kygo, and Calvin Harris.
Field Day comes second in the report, while Hyde Park's British Summer Time - despite being considerably bigger than both - is relegated to third place.
The study is compiled by Relish who use Twitter data to calculate the popularity of various London-centric things, including restaurants and exhibitions, for their 'Twitter Impact Index'.
Relish's research looks at the volume of mentions - geo-targeted to the London area - of "related Twitter handles, hashtags and names of locations".
