Watch Stranger Things' Finn Wolfhard explain his love of Canadian punks PUP
PUP have a famous fan in actor Finn Wolfhard - aka Stranger Things' Mike Wheeler.
In a new video that aired during the Polaris Music Prize ceremony last night, Wolfhard explains his love of the Canadian punk rockers. In the video Wolfhard also kills off a couple of PUP-ers in gruesome, Stranger Things-y ways via Dungeons & Dragons dice rolls: "You caught the White Lung from Grimes... on the Black Mountain!"
Wolfhard was actually in a video of PUP's as a young version of frontman Stefan Babcock - check out "Guilt Trip".
PUP were shortlisted for the prize for their LP The Dream Is Over. The Polaris Prize was eventually scooped by Montreal producer Kaytranada.
