Watch Mac DeMarco perform "No Other Heart" in a rowboat he bought himself as a birthday present
Mac DeMarco has a strange birthday tradition, which this year led to him buying himself a rowboat. You can now watch him perform "No Other Heart" in it.
Mito Habe-Evans directed the session just off the coast of Far Rockaway, Queens, with DeMarco armed with nowt but a keyboard and the sloshing of the waves.
Speaking to NPR about his choice of living location, DeMarco said: "I don't ever see anybody unless I want to... and even if I want to, usually people don't come out here 'cuz it's so far away. And my phone doesn't really work. It's all just peace and quiet."
DeMarco recently released a new mini-album called Another One via Captured Tracks.
