Vök guide you through the dark during captivating new single "Show Me"
Vök are sharing spine-tingling new single "Show Me" - it arrives ahead of their Iceland Airwaves performance next weekend.
On "Show Me", which is "about seeing the beauty in imperfections", the Icelandic outfit grab you by the hand and guide you through an icy-cool wilderness - Margrét Rán's fluid vocals temper the downtempo shadows, and the results are beautiful. There's a sensual streak through the three-and-a-bit minutes, with bold hip-hop percussion, juddery samples, whispers, and slithering basslines recalling FKA twigs' abstract R&B. "Show Me" is captivating from start to finish.
"Show Me" follows "Waiting", released earlier this year, and the band's Circles EP from last May. Brett Cox (Tusks, Jack Garrett) is on production duties.
