Vagabon changes album title, release date, and updates lyrics
Vagabon has pushed back the release date for her second album, as well as altering the title and updating some of the lyrics.
Lætitia Tamko, aka Vagabon, announced her second album, All The Women In Me, back in June, with lead single "Flood Hands".
Pitchfork report that the new album title has been altered to Vagabon, and the initial release date, 27 September, has been pushed back to 18 October.
Tamko explained of her changes, "My original album title and two lyrics were inspired by and referenced poetry by a writer I greatly admire, Nayyirah Waheed. When I learned that she preferred I not quote her words, I made changes out of respect for her wishes."
The title of Vagabon's lead single has also been changed from "Flood Hands" to "Flood". Another track titled "All The Women" has also been updated to "Every Woman".
Vagabon's self-titled second album will follow on from her 2017 debut Infinite Worlds.
