UK Festival claims Lil Wayne has been "refused entry" to the UK by Home Office
Cambridgeshire festival Strawberries & Creem has shared a statement claiming Lil Wayne will no longer play the festival due to being denied entry to the UK "directly by the Home Office in a last minute decision".
Earlier today (15 June) Strawberries & Creem Festival shared a statement announcing that Lil Wayne would be replaced by Ludacris at the two-day event this weekend. According to the festival, "Lil Wayne has been refused entry to the UK directly by the Home Office in a last minute decision."
"We are deeply disappointed by this sudden and negative ruling," the statement continued.
Lil Wayne was due to perform at the festival on Saturday (18 June), and has been replaced by Ludacris.
Strawberries & Creem has offered Saturday ticket holders free entry to the festival on the Sunday, or discounted tickets to the 2023 festival.
