Twin Peaks to return in 2016

Twin Peaks will come back for nine episodes in 2016, airing on the USA's Showtime Network (Dexter, Homeland).
Yes, you read that right. David Lynch even confirmed it:

Set in the present day, 25 years after the events of the second series, the show will make its comeback over a year from now.
