Titus Andronicus covers The Velvet Underground for Best Fit at End of the Road Festival

Patrick Stickles of Titus Andronicus delivered a electrifying three-song secret set in anticipation of his main performance later today, opening Sunday's proceedings on the Best Fit-curated Piano Stage at End of the Road.

The intense but charismatic Stickles treated the audience to impassioned solo takes on "To Old Friends and New" and "Mass Transit Madness" before concluding with a visceral medley of The Velvet Underground/Lou Reed tracks "Heroin", "I Want To Be Your Man", and "Walk On The Wild Side". The Velvet Underground's John Cale also plays the festival today.

End of the Road continues on Sunday 2 September with headline sets from Feist and White Denim.
