This Is The Kit share video for "Bashed Out"
This Is The Kit - AKA Kate Stables - is airing the video for upcoming LP title track, "Bashed Out".
Stables recently announced the record, and said that the social element of creating is what helps keep her motivated:
"The main reason for doing what I do is the exchange with other people - musical exchange yes, and other exchanges too. A hello and a handshake and the constant opportunity to learn from the knowledge and experience of others. As far as I can work out, the only thing worth doing in life is meeting, helping and swapping stories and experiences and resources with other people. Doing, making, learning."
The video for "Bashed Out" is influenced by Rudyard Kipling's The Crab That Played With The Sea. Artist, healer and film maker Sam Weller has directed the clip.
Bashed Out is due 6 April on Brasslands.
