There's a new Nick Cave exhibition heading to Copenhagen next year
The Danish capital, Copenhagen, will host a new Nick Cave exhibition titled Stranger Than Kindness next year.
The exhibition will be made up of large scale installations, accompanied by new atmospheric music created by Nick Cave and Warren Ellis.
300 objects of Nick Cave's will be on display at the exhibition in Copenhagen's Black Diamond library, from Cave's own collection, as well the Nick Cave archive at Arts Centre Melbourne, the collections of the Royal Danish Library, and a number of objects from private lenders.
The Cave exhibition is curated and produced by Royal Danish Library in collaboration with the Australian Music Vault at Arts Centre Melbourne, and is described as a "multi-sensory exploration of his many real and imagined universes."
It'll be split into eight rooms, featuring a variety of original artwork, handwritten lyrics, literature, photography, videos, set designs, and collected personal artefacts.
There will also be an accompanying book up for sale with the same title, Stranger Than Kindness, which publishers Canongate explain is "a journey in images and words into the creative world of musician, storyteller and cultural icon Nick Cave."
