The Soft Moon reveals new track “Desertion”, announces tour dates worldwide
Luis Vasquez, alias The Soft Moon, has unleashed “Desertion”, an onslaught of dark synths and white noise, in the lead-up to his new album and subsequent tour.
Deeper, Vasquez’ third studio album, will be released via Captured Tracks on 30 March. There’s an undeniable krautrock influence over his body of work, which might best be described as industrial post-punk. “Desertion” is particularly fraught and complex.
Vasquez is also taking The Soft Moon on the road this spring. He’ll play extensively in North America during April, and will head to Europe in May. Catch him in the UK on 25 May at The Garage in London, and at Leeds’ Brudenell Social Club on 26 May.
