The Simpsons share "Everyone Is Horrid Except Me (And Possibly You)" from Morrissey-inspired episode
"Everyone Is Horrid Except Me (And Possibly You)" an original song that featured on the recent episode of The Simpsons that parodied Morrissey, has been given an official release.
Last month The Simpsons aired Panic on the Streets of Springfield, an episode that saw Benedict Cumberbatch voice Lisa's imaginary friend Quilloughby, a moody British indie singer based on Morrissey.
Morrissey was obviously irritated by the episode, and issued a statement where he wrote that the parody episode was a "taunting lawsuit", adding, "but one that requires more funding than I could possibly muster in order to make a challenge."
The episode featured an original, Morrissey-inspired song called "Everyone Is Horrid Except Me (And Possibly You), which was co-written by Bret McKenzie of Flight of the Conchords, which has now got an official release.
