
The Mountain Goats announce new album with lead track "As Many Candles As Possible"

The Mountain Goats are back with news of their upcoming LP Getting Into Knives, alongside unveiling the lead track "As Many Candles As Possible".
"As Many Candles As Possible" is the group's first new single since releasing their Songs for Pierre Chuvin album on Bandcamp in April, which John Darnielle recorded by himself on his boombox.
Getting Into Knives was recorded at Sam Phillips Recording studio in Memphis with producer Matt Ross-Spang, who engineered their 2019 LP In League with Dragons.

"As Many Candles As Possible" is out now. The Mountain Goats' Getting Into Knives album will be released via Merge on 23 October, and is available to pre-order now.
