The Libertines to release new album in 2015
Following on from their recent reunion show at Hyde Park, The Libertines singer Carl Barat has gone on record as saying his band will release a new LP next year.
Pete Doherty and co have already hinted at new material, but now Barat has given the firmest answer to when we should expect a third record: “Next year, it has to be”.
“I don’t wanna just go on the road because then you’ll get cabin fever and have an epic fallout,” Barat recently told NME. “So yeah, I want to keep something fresh coming in. We just need to find the time.”
Doherty also revealed that they’re likely to record the full-length in Paris and Hamburg during October and November.
