Following speculation earlier this week that they were set to reform for a second time, The Libertines have now confirmed a reunion show for later this summer.
The London band, who broke up in 2004 before reforming a first time back in 2010, will play the second night of this year’s British Summer Time festival at Hyde Park. The likes of The Pogues, Spiritualized, The Enemy, Maximo Park, Reverend and The Makers, Wolf Alice and Swim Deep will also appear, with Black Sabbath, Soundgarden and Faith No More playing on the Friday.
British Summer Time festival runs from 4-5 July, with more information found here.
