The Flaming Lips' Wayne Coyne got married in a plastic bubble
Over the weekend The Flaming Lips' frontman Wayne Coyne got married, and he chose to tie the knot in a plastic bubble.
Tying the knot with Katy Weaver, eccentric musician Wayne Coyne decided to bring his elaborate props from The Flaming Lips' tours to his big day.
Close friend Miley Cyrus uploaded a picture of Coyne and his new wife stood in their plastic bubble during the ceremony,

Last year The Flaming Lips released two albums of remastered recordings from the earlier days of their career, as well as dropping a Greatest Hits, Vol. 1 record. The group also released an earlier version of their SpongeBob SquarePants musical demo song "We Only Have Tomorrow".
Their last album of new material was 2017's Oczy Mlody.
