The Black Keys, Pharrell and The Prodigy all confirmed for Isle Of Wight Festival 2015
The Black Keys, Pharrell Williams and The Prodigy have all been announced for Isle Of Wight Festival 2015. They will join worldwide exclusives Fleetwood Mac on the bill.
The Black Keys and The Prodigy are confirmed to be co-headlining the Friday night, with Pharrell's slot yet to be revealed.
Patrick Carney of The Black Keys expressed his desire to perform at the event in a statement: “The Isle of Wight Festival has so much history and we are really pleased to have been invited to headline in 2015 and look forward to being part of such great rock and roll heritage.”
Festival organiser John Giddings explained his choices: "With a brand new album coming out next year it’s great to welcome The Prodigy back to The Isle of Wight Festival – they never fail to deliver and are one of the best live acts around. We’re all big fans of The Black Keys and their live show is phenomenal, I know they’re going to go down well with the crowds. And of course man of the moment Pharrell Williams, this just continues to reaffirm him as one of music’s most exciting and crowd-pleasing artists around.”
Tickets for the event go onsale 9am Friday (5 December). Isle Of Wight Festival 2015 will take place at Seaclose Park, Newport 11-14 June.
