The current coronavirus pandemic has resulted in people staying indoors, which ultimately means most people have lot of free time.

With a lot of free time and nowhere to go, The Big Moon have revealed a new idea that will help fans keep busy while also teaching them a new skill.

The Big Moon announced the idea this afternoon on Twitter, writing, "BIG MOON SCHOOL OF ROCK. I can play guitar, let me teach you. I can teach u any songs u like, but I know big moon songs better than anyone else on earth. Beginners extremely welcome. £20 for a half hour sesh on zoom/skype, all money goes direct to keeping band and crew alive for the forseeable future. Apply for lessons via direct message on insta or twitter and i’ll send the details xx PS - first lesson: this is not how you hold it."

The news comes after a number of musicians, including Coldplay's Chris Martin, Christine and the Queens, Amyl and The Sniffers, and more have been hosting live performances from isolation on their socials.

While The Big Moon are offering guitar lessons, Spanish group Hinds have been sharing tutorials online on how to play their songs.
