Teenage Fanclub share new single "I Left A Light On"
Teenage Fanclub have returned with their first new single of the year, "I Left A Light On".
"I Left A Light On" is the group's first new material of 2022, following last year's Endless Arcade album, and arrives with a video shot by Ryan Eddleston at Rockfield Studios in South Wales, where the track was recorded.
The band's Norman Blake said of the track, "I wrote this song on the piano at Rockfield Studios while we were mixing Endless Arcade. We went back there recently to record it. As a band we’ve already started thinking about another new album, this song is the first signpost towards that."
As well as releasing Endless Arcade last year, Teenage Fanclub's Norman Blake and Raymond McGinley contributed harmonies to Superchunk's "Endless Summer" song.
