Taylor Swift is releasing a mobile game with the creators of Kim Kardashian's app
Taylor Swift is set to join Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry, and, erm, Jason Statham in releasing a new mobile game.
Glu Mobile Inc. - who created the Kardashian and Perry apps - is helping develop the “one-of-a-kind mobile game for smartphones and tablet devices”.
Given her prolific business savvy, it's almost surprising she didn't swoop into this market sooner. However, she's clearly partnered with the right people - within three months of Kardashian's game being out, it had raked in $74 million.
Glu Mobile reveal that the deal is a "multi-year partnership". The company's chief exec Niccolo de Masi says: "We realize that Taylor and her global fan base expect a new and highly differentiated mobile gaming experience. Glu is equally committed to designing never before seen gameplay elements that utilize Taylor's unique creativity."
The game is due later this year.
As well as Kardashian, Perry, Swift, and Statham, Glu also work with Nicki Minaj, Britney Spears, and Gordon Ramsay.
